Tumour surgery

Tumour surgery is a subfield of plastic surgery that focuses on removing benign and malign tumours without compromising the aesthetic appearance of the concerned body part(s). A highly personalised and confidential consultation is the basis for further treatment in this field.

While tumour tissue and the necessary parts of surrounding healthy tissue are professionally removed, special account is taken of aesthetic aspects. If profound blemishes cannot be avoided, they can subsequently be treated by means of local flap surgery or free-flap grafts.

Free-flap surgery involves removing parts of healthy muscle, skin or connective tissue and using them to cover an injury, e.g. by microsurgical transplantation. Tumour surgery can significantly enhance the patient’s quality of life. Simply contact us for an individual consultation appointment so we can discuss your treatment options and chances for success.
