Hand surgery

Only highly qualified and experienced surgeons are capable of performing surgical interventions on the human hand. Thanks to a multitude of highly sensitive nerves, vessels and tendons, our hands enable us to perform various gross and fine motor tasks. Surgeons must take special care to preserve the intact hand tissue while treating damaged tissue. Hand surgery covers a broad spectrum of interventions, ranging from surgery for tendovagintis stenosans ("trigger finger") and hand tumour surgery to the surgical treatment of congenital deformities.
Given the complexity of hand surgery, we take ample time for an individual consultation to answer any questions our patients may have, and to discuss your individual chances for success.
